Housing Accommodations

Below is hotel and dorm information for NRJE Conference attendees.  The hotel requests that guests make their own hotel reservations, and pay the hotel directly.  Any guests staying in the dorm will make reservations through the NRJE and pay the NRJE directly.

Hotel information:

Towson University Marriott Conference Hotel, located at 10 Burke Ave., Towson, Maryland.  We have a block of rooms, which are 2 bedroom suites, for $155.00 per night for a single room.   Identify yourself as a part of the Towson University College of Liberal Arts Room Block. To reserve a room, please call 1-800-228-9290 or 410-324-8100.   The Hotel is across the street from the campus and is a fairly easy walk to the conference location in the College of Liberal Arts building.

The Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel is about 1.5 miles from campus and has a shuttle that goes to Towson area businesses and universities from 7:30am until 10:30pm.  The group rate is $189, and reservations must be made by June 3, 2016, 5:00 pm EST, by calling 1-888-627-7147.  Group name: NRJE Network for Research in Jewish Education.

Dorm information:

Dorm rooms are no longer available in the Tubman House dorms which is in the West Village Commons area of the Towson University campus. Each room has two beds and one bath.  The cost is $42 per person for double occupancy and $62 per person for single occupancy, plus 6% sales tax.  Linens including sheets, pillow with case, blanket and towels will be provided.  Note: these are thin dorm mattresses.  Check-in for the dorms is typically 4pm.  These dorms were built approximately 6 years ago, and are a relatively easy walking distance to the College of Liberal Arts building that will be the location of the conference sessions.  Here is the link to view the dorms.
